Ról ről
[A szöveg csak angol nyelven érhető el] The project, undertaken with Nicola Pisanti and drummer Michele Ciccimarra, is a hypnotic and synaesthetic improvisation session, where every sound produced by the acoustic instruments is parsed and interpreted by a video pulse.
To control the visuals we used both audio input from the mixer and midi signals from a device built ad hoc using piezo sensors and an arduino micro. We have also open-sourced the device code after the performance (available at https://github.com/npisanti/microMidi/tree/master/MidiPiezos ). The visuals are generated both using CoGe with handmade stop motion graphics and openFrameworks for the projection upon the drums (from the front and from above).
