Object Mapping is an innovative, 21st century artistic genre born of the symbiosis of architecture and the projected image, in which virtual spaces enter physical reality in the form of architectural objects.
The genre is liberated from the traditional environment and performance technique of mapping by being location-specific projects designed for various spots on the globe. As a continuous time capsule, they become keepers of the volatile, illusory atmosphere of light- spaces, transmitting the momentary state of transience to eternity.
In the forthcoming years, IMF is designing various bigger size installations and installation- systems at cyclically constructed intervals, which are to re-shape traditional spaces of Cape Town, New York, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires and various cities of Europe, Australia and Asia.
