Ról ről

[A szöveg csak angol nyelven érhető el] This series of visual poems represents my exploration into viewer's focus. In particular, the focus on details. I present my first answers to questions of how focus might be affected by the speed of changes in the picture, the background, the field of view and by the meaning of changes in the picture. I would like to convey the feeling of visual pleasure that we have when we discover small non-obvious elements of bigger pictures.

Poems made in collage technique are linked by the theme of places and connections between people who come from different geographic regions. Attachments to places are formed by continuous observation with no possibility to leave. This happens when you are are a kid or are caught in a pandemic. I thought our personal places can be a topic for a conversation. Collages are composed of photos that my friend sent me during lockdown and photos from my archive that I chose as a reply to them.

"Two fields"
Is a poem about my field in Russia and my friend's field in Italy.

"Sky of London"
Invites the viewer to find similarities with their own sky and attempt to look at it through the eyes of the artist slowly exploring the visual field.

"Your friends remind me of home"
Is about places we grew up in.
