Study no. 44 [Lecture 1]

[A szöveg csak angol nyelven érhető el] Study no. 44 [Lecture 1] is an audiovisual animated score in which the lecture itself is an instance of its topic. In other words, the lecture is presented to the speaker and the audience using animated notation. When presented, Study no. 44 can last for theoretically any duration, but between 15 minutes and an hour seems to work well. During a presentation, the score is projected for the audience to see, and the speaker simply does as they are told, speaking the words as the animated cursor reaches nodes that are associated with specific words. There is also a secondary cursor that can get 'stuck' in the wings so to speak, adding an additional sonic element. Lastly, Study no. 44 represents an animated notational approach to electroacoustic synchronicity in that the speaker, if performing correctly, is perfectly in sync with the electronic and acoustic sounds.
