[A szöveg csak angol nyelven érhető el] In this improvised audiovisual performance, image and sound emerge together in real time.
Katia Vonna Beltran, in a lowtech and DIY process, transforms everyday objects, recycled materials and fragments of visual memory into unstable landscapes, while analog synthesizers generate shifting tones, pulses and resonances. Neither medium illustrates the other; both react, resist and reshape one another.
Through reuse, disruption and transformation, the performance, adopting a highly critical perspective, challenges the dominant ways of seeing, consuming and inhabiting the world.
A temporary space is created, within which relationships, meanings and alternative possible futures may emerge.
