Islamic Geometric Design Projection in Turkey

[A szöveg csak angol nyelven érhető el] It is a call for interested artists. The project is about the logical approach of Islamic geometric designs. The constructions of the patterns are purely analytic so they can be computerized and created again and again with small differences but with diverse results. Our approach is to visualize the patterns by recoding (taprats) and make a visual projection out of them. It will be an interactive software tool so that the audience can recreate the patterns in real-time and see the results in the video projections. The lively computerized colorful visuals will be projected onto Islamic architectures and in Beyoglu streets at the art festival VJ FEST ISTANBUL 2013.
