[A szöveg csak angol nyelven érhető el] Echoes of Change is an immersive audiovisual work by visual artist Anna Bacheva, created in collaboration with French photographer Carl Cordonnier and composer Géraldine Kwik, within the European project CO-VISION, which explores natural heritage through digital art and new forms of environmental awareness.
Drawing on testimonies collected from people living in the North of France, the work approaches the climate crisis through its intimate and emotional resonance. Rather than documenting environmental change, it traces the invisible territories it produces within us: anxiety, uncertainty, vulnerability, but also resilience and connection. In the context of the extreme temperatures experienced across Europe and France this summer, these questions take on an even more immediate resonance.
Voices, black-and-white portraits, immersive sound and digital scenography converge in a fluid audiovisual landscape. Personal narratives become fragments of a collective memory, while the human figure becomes a site where ecological and psychological transformations intersect.
Echoes of Change proposes an encounter with the climate crisis beyond information and representation — as a felt experience, an inner landscape, and a shared state of becoming.
