[A szöveg csak angol nyelven érhető el] e-cor ensemble is an electroacoustic music project founded in 2013 and currently led as a stable duo by Mirjana Nardelli and Francesco Altilio. At the core of the duo’s artistic exploration lies sound, understood as a primary element and the nucleus of an aesthetic inquiry that also unfolds through transdisciplinary connections.
Influenced by the tradition of acousmatic art, the ensemble extends its timbral research across applied music, sound design, video art, and radical improvisation. Rejecting the structural clichés of tradition and predictable compositional patterns, the duo pursues an autonomous musical semantics rooted in Schaefferian reduced listening. Within this framework, the sound object is investigated in its pure phenomenological dimension, liberating itself from causal bonds or formal conventions.
The ensemble's works and performances have been featured in prestigious festivals, exhibitions, and concert institutions in Milan (Inner_Spaces), Rome (Macro Asilo), Barcelona (Festival Mixtur), Paris (Supermarket of Sounds), and New York (New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival).
