[Text available only in English] Adél Garics (born 30 July 2000, Üllő, Hungary) is a visual artist and multimedia designer whose work investigates the relationship between light, space, and the viewer. Her artistic practice focuses on light installations, visual performance, and VJing, driven by a strong interest in experimentation and in discovering order within chaos.
She is currently pursuing an MA in Media Design at the Budapest Metropolitan University (METU), following a BSc in Industrial Product and Form Design Engineering from Óbuda University. Her background also includes training in animation direction, fashion and style design, and applied visual arts. She participated in international academic programs such as Erasmus at the University of Economy in Izmir and the Winter School at the University of Maribor.
Since 2024, she has worked as a visual designer and product design engineer at S39 Hybrid Design, and she teaches drawing at the Csillagfürt Workshop. Her professional experience also covers editorial work, fashion design, and multidisciplinary creative projects.
Her installations and artworks have been exhibited at venues such as Morph.md (Kőbánya Contemporary Cultural Center) and the Sérum Light Art Festival in Slovakia. As a VJ, she has produced visuals for major events including Lenkke_ at Budapest Park, the Budapest Biennale, and audiovisual performances aboard the KASSA Boat in Budapest.
