[Text available only in English] Pandelis Diamantides is a new media artist, electronic music composer, and researcher working at the intersection of sound, image, and technology. Dividing his time between Amsterdam, Athens, and Nicosia, he creates immersive works that merge emotional resonance with conceptual precision. His installations, sound compositions, and audiovisual performances investigate how perception, embodiment, and emerging technologies shape human experience.
Diamantides’ work extends across contemporary art, performance, and research — encompassing audiovisual performances, installations, theatre, and interactive environments. His projects have been presented internationally at MoMA PS1 (New York), the Venice Biennale, Bozar (Brussels), Museo Reina Sofía (Madrid), MACRO (Rome), the Benaki Museum (Athens), FOAM (Amsterdam), Athens Digital Arts Festival, TodaysArt Festival (The Hague), Amsterdam Dance Event, and other venues throughout Europe, the Middle East, Asia, South America, and the United States.
Notable works include Green (2011), Tune In (2012), False Awakenings (2015), In Circles (2017), Go Back to Hiding in the Shadows (2019), Quickly Photographed and Released Unharmed (2020), Drowning (2021), Παλμός (2023), and the ongoing series TOPIA (2021–25). Collaborative artworks include Mutual Wave Machine (2015), plplpl.pl (2016), Anima(2016), and Polaris (2016).
Recognised internationally for his expertise at the intersection of art, science, and technology, Diamantides has lectured at the China Academy of Arts (Hangzhou), the University of The Andes (Bogotá), and the University of Peloponnese(Greece). From 2017–2019, he was a Visiting Lecturer in Programming Multimedia at the Cyprus University of Technology, and later served as Research Associate at both the CYENS Centre of Excellence (Cyprus) and the ATHENA Research Center (Greece).
He currently leads Studio Pandelis Diamantides, a creative and production hub developing interdisciplinary projects in sound, visual art, and immersive media.
